Military Spec Switchboard Matting

Style 710 marbleized switchboard matting meets Mil. Spec MIL=-DTL-15562-G Type I. This is specifically designed for permanent installation and is treated for flooring applications. The smooth marbleized material can be installed with any vinyl-compatible mastic adhesive. It has a dielectric strength of 30,000v and a max use of 7500v. Matting is easy to clean and offers exceptional ozone and oil resistance. Matting is 1/8” thick and available in blue or green in 3’ widths up to 75’ lengths.

Mat and welding thread: When installing several widths of style 710 matting side by side, it is important to seal the seams to ensure the mat’s reliability or consistent insulative properties. This can be accomplished by boding the mats together with welding thread. For best results, use professional floor installers that have experience and machinery designed to bond this material. Welding thread is available in colors to match the 710 marbleized matting and comes in 50’, 150’ or 300 rolls.

Style 712 diamond-plate switchboard matting meets Mil. Spec MIL-DTL-15562-G Type III. It is perfect for use around high voltage equipment and in heavily trafficked areas, offering additional traction and abrasion resistance. It is 3/16” thick, has a dielectric strength of 30,000v and a max use of 7500v. Matting is easy to clean and offers exceptional ozone and oil resistance. It is available in 3’ widths and up to 75’ lengths.  Color gray.

Rubber military switchboard matting conforms to Mil Spec MIL-DTL-15562G, Types II or III and is approved for use by all Commands of the Department of the Navy and the Marine Corps and is available for use by all other Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. This matting is available in smooth top and diamond pattern and comes in 3’ x 75’ rolls.
