Spike Tool and Grounding Assemblies

The hydraulic spike is designed to verify underground cable, up to 1000 MCM, is
de-energized before cutting, repairing or replacing.

The cable spike, a solid brass body with a stainless steel piercing tip, is fitted to
hydrfaulic compression tools so that the cable can be accurately spiked from a
safe distance. An anodized aluminum insert is included to position the cable
precisely. This tool improves control, accuracy and safey and is remote controlled.

WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: This tool is not insulated. Use only certified,
non-conductive hoses, dielectric fluids, and proper personal protective equipment
when using this unit. Failure to do so could result in severe injury or death.
