Portable Grounds Tester
Utility Solutions self contained portable tester is the easiest way to test protective grounds in accordance with ASTM standards. Powered by 120vac the test unit applies rated test current to the cable under test and provides a direct millivolt drop reading via a digital meter for the most accurate test method in the industry. In addition, the USGT-600 unit incorporates REACH(TM) technology to quickly and easily isolate any problem ground components. This true high current 4-wire Kelvin test set sets a new standard in personnel protective ground testing performance.
The unit has no calibration threshold settings, simply read the value from a table (supplied). The low output voltage of less than 3 volts provides safety to the user. |
This tester can test cable sizes from #2 through 350 kcmil, 2 x 2/0, 2 x 4/0 cables and cluster
grounding assemblies. Top or side mounted test studs provide maximum versatility for the user |
